VPN Driver Problem Encountered Error

Hi friends,

My system gave this error today morning, while I was configuring my VPN and am stuck with it.  Can’t get rid of it.

I did a few experiments to solve it, like I un-installed and re-installed VPN but after installation it gave the same error again.  Then I tried to repair it, by restarting the setup and checking the repair option but it still gave the same error, half way of repair operation.

The VPN client driver has encountered an error.

Now I am looking for a VPN expert to solve my problem as I am working on a very important project and it needs to be finished right today.

So please, if there is any VPN guru who can solve this error issue out,  Please do reply.

VPN Driver Problem Encountered Error

Hi,

I don't exactly know the reason as, you haven't written the error code but here are two solutions to solve this:

Solution 1: Right click on My Computer, Click Manage, then Services and Applications, Services and Select the Cisco Any Connect VPN Agent.

After this right click on Properties then login and select "allow service to interact with the desktop".  This will make the registry value to 110 from 010.

(default in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesvpnagent)

This sets the registry type value DWORD to 110 (default is 010) for the

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesvpnagent.

Solution 2: Run command prompt as an Administrator (right click it and choose run as Administrator).  Then run the following commands

a. net stop CryptSvc.

b. esentutl /p %systemroot%System32catroot2{F750E6C3-38EE-11D1-85E5-00C04FC295EE}catdb.

Then choose to repair.
Type exit and press enter to close command prompt
Then Reboot the PC.
