The Apple iPhone 4s supports 2G and 3G networks. It was unveiled and released at the same time on October 2011 and supports mini-SIM. It measures around 115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3 millimeters weighing around 140 grams. It has an LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 640 x 960 pixels screen resolution.

The primary camera supports 8 megapixels at 3264 x 2448 pixels resolution with autofocus and LED flash. It features 1/3.2-inch sensor size, geo-tagging, 1.4 µm pixel size, touch focus, panorama, face detection, and HDR photo. It can do video recording in 1080p at 30 fps with video stabilization. The secondary camera supports VGA and can do video recording in 480p at 30 fps with videocalling over Wi-Fi and 3G.

It runs on iOS 5 powered by Apple A5 chipset with dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor and PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU. It can be upgraded to iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 7.0.4. It only supports HTML for internet access and no support for Java. The GPS supports GLONASS and A-GPS. Standby time is up to 200 hours on 2G and 3G while talk time is up to 14 hours on 2G and 8 hours on 3G.
