Hi. Since the evaluation license expires every 60 days and I will have to re-install ESXi 5.5 which will be very time-consuming so is there any way I can install the VMware ESXi free license with nonexpired license keys?
Oh yes, you sure can download the VMware ESXi free license with nonexpired license keys.
1) To start with create your VMware account and log in your account with the details.
2) After you are logged in, click on Installation & Configuration after which under Download packages, you will be given the option to download the ESXi ISO image (includes VMware tools) and VMware vSphere Client.
3) Once the download completes, using the vSphere client connect to ESXi host to complete the installation/update.
4) After you get connected, a window will open up showing all Product features which are provided by the vSphere Evaluation License after you select Configuration tab>Licensed features>Edit.
5) Enter the license key you want and click on OK. Now, the installation is complete and the license key will also not expire.
