VLC player is one of the most favourite media player all over the world. I personally use for playing DVD and other video format.

But after running some time (15-17 minute) it will automatically stop. And give me a message. ‘Runtime error’ or VLC hardware input.

What is the indication of VLC player? I don’t know what is this? Help me.

To fix runtime errors on programs and soft wares:

  1. Just press crtl > alt > del when the task manager pops-up press crtl > Shift > ESC. Click the start button on your computer then run enter tasjmgr. Then you will have to check for any patches and bugs. Use a software or download it in the internet in doing this. You can visit the manufacturer’s site as well.
  2. If your done in all the fixes as was mentioning above, and it did not fix anything. You can just remove the program then reinstall it back.

I do not have any custom skins or drawing tablets connected. This is was a fresh install of Win7 32-bit from an Enterprise LiteTouch deployment.

install VLC 1.0.5 successfully.
Afterward I ran the VLC 1.1.0 upgrade from there, and I am happy to report VLC 1.1.0 successfully installed and ran for me. It spent a few minutes rebuilding my font cache and the file extension associations didn't update, but at least it runs!

The first thing to do is to reset the VLC preferences in the preferences dialog of the application and restart VLC. If VLC doesn't even start anymore, delete VLC's configuration file Then restart VLC. This is was a fresh install of Win7 32-bit from an Enterprise LiteTouch deployment. I was also able to download and install VLC 1.0.5 successfully when i was also able to download and install VLC 1.0.5 successfuly.Afterward I ran the VLC 1.1.0 upgrade from there, and I am happy to report VLC 1.1.0 successfully installed and ran for me.
