Dear Dinacallway

  • First complete uninstall your VLC player and remove VLC Player folder located in Program Files folder. After this, restart your computer.
  • Then download a latest version of VLC player from internet and install it. It will work fine without getting this error “Vlc.exe – Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point_vlc_thread_ready could not be located in the dynamic link library libvlccore.dll”.
  • This error shows when you not uninstall complete VLC player from your system before installing the new one.

Hope it will work.

Hi,

In your question, you haven't mentioned the version of the VLC player that you are using.

Things you can do to fix this problem are:

  1. Check if you have completely installed your VLC player. If not, then re-install it.
  2. If installation is complete and the error still occurs, then check your system registry. It might be that your registry is damaged. Try to clean your registry. You can use some registry cleaner softwares you can download (google it).
  3. Try to install VLC Media Player 0.9.3/0.9.4.
