VLC media player hangs and horrible sound hard disk drive

Last night, when I turned on my computer and played a video, I found my VLC media player is hanged. After some moments, I realized something strange. The thing is that my hard disk drive was making a horrible sound like it lost the reader. After that, I still managed to restart my pc. Then, the sound stopped. I suspect that it was my 2nd drive. I started Spin Rite to check what was the matter. Fortunately, everything seemed all right.Â
However, my secondary drive was a 160GB HDD and it was showing some errors on the monitor of S.M.A.R.T. This screenshot shows the S.M.A.R.T. drive info of the 160GB HDD.
Usually it was operating typically in the Spin test level 3. Didn't find any problems. I observed that once I initiated, almost all my personal new music & video clip are on the second HDD. Wouldn't take almost any images from the test. Yet, aside from this error problems, nothing more wrong came way up.
Please help.
