I am using vlc media player from a long time. Recently it stops playing mp4 files. So I reinstalled it, and tried again. But still it can’t play mp4 files, just a black screen. I don’t know how it got this problem. Please help me, i really like vlc

You VLC software has been crash or either you missing MP4 codec, May be you face this problem due to any virus on your system. You must search if it asking any codec to do install for MP4. If still not running that it lost some important file to display video you can update it online or install a new setup on your PC, it latest version which is currently launched is very attractive, friendly user interface and much more features inside it. Off course VLC is best I also like and use it. You must use an Anti-virus and spy ware software all time.
MP4 files can be played in the VLC player, as it decodes video and audio in the MP4files. It seems MP4 files have successfully been played in your computer through VLC player.
It seems that your MP4 files have been have been damaged / corrupted. Mostly this may happen because of a virus attack. What you have to do is, install an updated recognized virus guard and clen the machine.
