Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

Only some of the Microsoft Visual studio 2010 products on this computer have been upgraded to service pack 1. None will work correctly until have been upgraded to Server Pack 1. None will work correctly until all have been upgraded.

To upgrade, close all Visual Studio products and then install Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1, which you can download here. If setup start in Maintenance Mode, select Repair.

Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio will now close.

Download the full version of Visual Studio 2010SP1.

Take down the ISO file. Following the steps below, you will get an ISO file:

Download of the extraction tools like ISObuster, Winrar, MagicISO etc.,

Install the extraction tool that you choose and open the ISO file.

Extract the ISO file.

Right click the setup.exe and run as administrator.

Select the option to reapply the VS2010SP1.

That message is actually not an error but a note from Microsoft informing you that other or not all Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 applications on your computer have been upgraded to Service Pack 1 and because the upgrade is incomplete all programs associated to Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 will not work until the rest are upgraded to Service Pack 1.

Unfortunately, there is no official standalone installer for Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 to make it more convenient for you to install the upgrade or to perform the installation. One of the available options is to download the web installer from Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 SP1 Web Installer. Downloading this installer requires an internet connection during the entire process of the installation.

This option requires a stable internet connection because the download is over 1 GB in size and a little problem with the connection will reset the entire installation process back to the beginning. If you don’t want this option probably because you have a slow internet connection or usually have bad connections, you can download the ISO file from Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 SP1 DVD ISO.

Once the ISO file has been downloaded, you need to burn it on a blank DVD-R disc using any burning software. After burning it, just run the installer from the DVD disc to upgrade the entire Visual Studio 2010 to Service Pack 1.
