Hello,

I refurbished my computer and now I am unable to connect to the internet.

Vista is no longer connected to an ATT router (3600HGV).

I have been able to connect other computers and iPhone but I have no success with this specific computer.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi There,

Since you mentioned that your computer is refurbished, did you reinstall all necessary drivers? Try to check if the network driver has been installed and ready to use, if not, you can use the driver disc bundled with your computer or you can download it from the manufacturer's website.

  • If the network is ready to use, you double check the connectivity from a router / switch to computer.
  • Check the Lan/Ethernet Cable if it's properly plugged-in by looking at the light indicator at the Ethernet Port on the back of your computer.
  • If you are using a wireless laptop/desktop, check if the computer is able to see the SSID of the router
  • If all of these are Okay, check the IP Settings on your computer and make sure they are in the same range/class.

Hope this helps!

Regards,

Kroskey
