Virtual Disk Manager showed up this error for while I was working with. It appeared for the first time today and now I cannot pass it at all. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ? What is causing this now ?

Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
If that error appeared when you opened Virtual Disk Manager, I think that’s bad news for you. Your hard drive possibly has a bad block or a bad sector that needs to be fixed. If you have an old hard drive or if your operating system is running on an old hard drive then you probably have a failing drive.
Though it’s totally not yet broken but it is possible that sectors in the drive starts failing. To better check the condition of your hard drive, you can use the Windows Scandisk to check the condition of the drive. Since the error was triggered when you started the application then that means it is drive C that needs checking.
Open Windows Explorer then right-click drive C and select Properties. You can also do this using Control Panel. Click Start, Control Panel, Performance and Maintenance, Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management. From the left panel under Storage section, select Disk Management. Right-click drive C and then select Properties. Select Tools tab then click Check Now. See image.
Check the boxes for “Automatically fix file system errors” and “Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors” then click Start. Wait for it to finish then try opening Virtual Disk Manager again. See image.
It will take some time for the scan to finish because it depends on the size of the drive and the severity of the damage. Once it is finished, try running Virtual Disk Manager. If the program now displays a different error not “data error (cyclic redundancy check)” and it doesn’t start, reinstall the application and it should be running again after that.
