Follow the following steps,

  • Open the Movie Dialog Box
  • Click the slide you are going to use for the video in the overview pane.
  • In the placeholder, click the media insert clip button.
  • In the insert movie dialog box click the name of presentation.
  • In message box click “When Clicked”

To preview your changes, in the normal view double click the video object.

Good day Densiehope,

After a short research about adding videos to the Microsoft power point 2007, This is what I have found out.

First you have to use Clip Organizer.

On the Insert menu, point to movies and sounds the click movie file, Then select the file you want to insert and click Insert Movie dialog box and click OK button.

If you selected a movie clip in animated .GIF format, it will run automatically the entire time the slide is displayed in a slide show.

If you selected a movie file in another format such as .avi, It will display a message box letting you choose when the movie will play.

To have it play automatically when the slide is displayed in a slide show, click the automatic button.

To have it play only after you click the movie image, click the When clicked button.

Hope this help.

Thank you and god bless.
