I am a fan of the viber free messaging service on mobile and recently while using the app, I noticed that there is a desktop version. I was wondering how it works because in the phone the viber software uses the sim phone number as the base for transmission but on desktop how will it work?
You can use Viber on your PC by downloading Viber For Windows.
If Viber is installed and activated on your phone, then only Viber For Windows will work.
Steps:
Be sure that your computer meets the software and hardware requirements.
1. Download and install Viber for windows desktop.
2. Run it.
3. You will proceed forward only if you accept the license agreement.

4. Click Yes if a Dialog box appears asking whether Viber is installed on your phone.

5. Click Continue after selecting your country and entering your phone number.
6. You will receive a message from Viber. It will have the activation code.
7. On the activation screen, enter this code.

You are done installing Viber on your desktop. Enjoy using Viber on your Desktop.
