Verizon HTC Thunderbolt and “Balancer” launcher

I've recently installed the "Balancer" launcher on my Android phone and I love it. Unfortunately, it seems to hate my phone's app drawer. Every single time I've opened the app drawer, it hangs/loads for ~1 min. before actually showing any of my apps. Once it finally shows the apps, I'm able to swipe over about two pages before I get this screen:

Error:

Sorry

The application balancer (processcom.ddna.balancer.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

Can anyone tell me why it does this every time? I'd really like to fix this and keep Balancer. All of the other launchers that I've tried have made my phone run extremely slow.

Try upgrading your android phone’s operating system to a much newer version. You may also try upgrading it to the latest version of the phone’s OS if it is already available. But before doing this be sure to backup your phone first because sometimes the phone exhibits odd behaviors after its operating system got upgraded. It’s usually not good to immediately upgrade the phone to the latest version because it might still contain bugs. But since your application, Balancer, doesn’t work right at the moment, upgrading your operating system might fix this problem.

If ever something goes wrong after the upgrade, just restore your android phone back using the backup you made. You may decide whether to uninstall Balancer since it already makes the phone to generate errors or behave differently or just leave it there.
