I've installed Vault 2012 on server machine running Microsoft Server 2008 Operating System. Workstation Client PC is running on Windows 7 of 64-bit version.
I'm facing problem in accessing Vault 2012 from Excel 2007 environment. On Login attempt, following dialog box appears,
Log in
2007 Microsoft Office system is not compatible with the usnbrvault hosting
the following server applications:
Vault Server version 16.0.56.200
OK
Please, can anybody help me in resolving this issue?

In your error message, it is stated that 2007 Microsoft Office system is not compatible with the usnbrvault hosting Vault Server 16.0. In other words, you should use a lower version for instance 2003 Microsoft Office.

Please check whether you have the Office 2012 add-in installed in your vault program.
You can do this by going to the control panel of your computer, then programs and features, select Vault 2012 client and choose add or remove features. Check here whether the Microsoft office 2012 add-in has been installed.
Alternatively, if the above solution does not work, check that you have installed Microsoft office 2012 that is 64bit since you are running a 64bit windows. These two solutions should solve the issue otherwise, you can contact the publisher of your softwares for detailed support.
