I use SuSE 10 System Backup tool for Linux. Everything is fine with that when I backup hard drive on my computer. However, when I tried to restore the CDs (ISO or plain-no difference) I got the message like “can’t load file system”. Does it work for CD and if yes, then how can I restore CD by this tool?
Using SuSE Linux Backup tool to restore CD
Hi,
When you use SuSE for backup you must follow certain steps to burn the backup on a cd. First of all check the space required to burn the backup disk. If it is more than 700 MB then use a DVD. A CD cannot hold data more than 700 MB so use a DVD.
-
First check the space required for the backup process.
-
Then insert the DVD in the disk drive of your computer.
-
Now, go to the backup and restore tool in the settings and select backup option.
-
In the new window that appears, select the DVD on which you want to store the backup and click ok.
Hope this information helps you.
