I am operating Microsoft windows 2003 AD and 2003 Return servers. If I wish to use interactive movie with OCS, do I need to allow QoS of some kind, and for what protocol?

I don’t know about the Windows version but if you want to play or stream a movie, you have to disable the QoS from the network or from the router.

To do this simply follows the steps.

  1. Most routers used in the network has a physical button that can enable or disable the QoS of the entire system, just use them to disable it for some time till you play the movie.
  2. You need to go to the routers main page too for this if the button is not there.
  3. Just go to 192.168.1.1 and you will see an option of QoS. Just go through basic steps and you are good to go.
