Is using adfs proxy to gain external access to crm 2011 needed

Hi,

I find nothing fancy in most of the impl guides, which means I have to continue with the plain quest/ design option. Company.local is the name of the internal domain, while the external is company.com. Claim based goes hand in hand with crm.company.local.

My question is do I need to use adfs proxy to gain external access to crm 2011 while at the same time using IFD? Each time I attempt to include a relying part trust, the message “403 error” crops up. Furthermore, is it normal for the auth.company.com name to be the IP belonging to the ADFS Proxy?

ADFS 2.0 management error-403 error

Any relevant information would be helpful.

Thank you.

A Proxy Server is a server that stays between you and the internet connection. Most of the content filtering and site blocking jobs are done by Proxy Servers. In the above case the main reason must be that, Most probably the site where the software fetches data must be blocked, if not check the Firewall and enable the software to connect to the internet without any limitations.
