Hey. The LiDE Scanner Software is one from Canon. It is a TWAIN-compliant scanner driver for the company. It can be used only for Canon snapped pictures, and it helps in acting as a color image scanner. The last version updated was Ver 1.7.0.5. It is expected to re-install the scanner upon download and not just scan the device on download. The software is free to use and can be used directly without any regulation.
