I have created an application using Microsoft Access 2007. I want to use that access file in more than one computer at same time.
Is it possible to access them at same time? If possible please describe me how it works.
Use Microsoft Access file from more than one computer in a network
Yes you can use a Microsoft Access File at the same.
First, you have to share the database – computers connected to a network.
Put the access database to a network server or shared folder.
Now there might be a conflict when more than one computer is trying to edit the same file at the same time. When more than one computer is trying to edit the file, Microsoft Access will display messages to help you resolve the conflict. Like for example when you try to save a file that is already been locked by another user, Access will notify you with the name of that user. Hope this is helpful.
