Hello Jude,

In migrating to version 8.4, note that the NAT feature has been redesigned for increased flexibility and functionality. When using NAT in the previous version, you had to specify the mapped addresses and ports in an access list  for all features that uses access lists. In the latest version, for several supported features, you must use the real untranslated IP address and ports.

In the migration, The NAT configuration will not be affected but will be migrated as well. When the NAT configuration is migrated, the following file is added to the root directory: nat_ident_migrate. The presence of this empty file shows that the NAT configuration was migrated successfully and prevents remigration at boot-up.

Thank you.
