I have this Error when I want to update my Windows 7. I know that some new updates are available because this action was asked. The automatically search and install of updates shows me this Error and I cannot install any available updates. Can anyone help me please to fix this ? Is there another way to install these updates ?

Installing updates on your operating system is really optional and not mandatory. As long as the operating system is working and you can use it without a problem, installing an update is not necessary. Updates installed using Windows Update only adds little or minor improvements to the operating system. The reason why installing minor updates are not important is because there are times the installation damages or brings error to other applications currently installed.
The best way to update your operating system and the most important update that you should install on your computer is the Service Pack update. Installing the latest Service Pack for your current version of Microsoft Windows installs the major update including minor updates that you can get from the Windows Update.
Since you are using Microsoft Windows 7, update your operating system to Windows 7 Service Pack 1 [KB976932]. Once updated to Service Pack 1, you can still continue installing minor updates from Windows Update. To check if you are already using Service Pack 1, click Start then right-click My Computer and then select Properties. You should see Service Pack 1 displayed under “Windows edition”.
If you don’t see it then you should update to Service Pack 1. Also, Service Pack 1 is the latest Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows 7.
