Greetings,

Before updating your Ipad you need to do a few things.

1.) Connect your device to the computer you update it with most and backup; music, movies, apps, books, and TV shows with Itunes.

2.) Begin updating your Ipad to the latest version with Itunes. The newest released version is iOS5

3.) Restore your device from its most recent backup

4.) Restart Device

5.) Sync device with Itunes on your computer for it to get all the files back.

Remember Itunes will tell you that it backs up your files but it will only do certain ones automatically. The music, movies, apps, books, and TV shows on your iPad will not be backed up.

Thank You.
