I successfully installed Autodesk® Revit® MEP 2012 and runs without the activation code.

But when I tried to activate it with the correct code, I encountered the error below.

I am stuck with the splash screen and I cannot continue working.

I am really frustrated so please help me.

Thanks.

If you open and use Autodesk Revit MEP 2012 and you did not encounter any problems with it, it is possible that the procedure encountered an error during the activation.

Uninstall the application and then check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. If you don’t have one installed, use Windows disk check tool. If you are using a different version of Windows, try adapting the procedure.

  1. Right-click drive C then select Properties.
  2. Click Tools tab.
  3. Click Check Now.
  4. Check Automatically fix file system errors then click Start.

For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like PC Tools Performance Toolkit or Norton SystemWorks instead of using Windows disk check.

Install Autodesk Revit MEP 2012 again and then activate it afterwards. Be sure to have the right code when activating the product to avoid any complications again.
