I have some database files stored on a network. When I try to open them since the last reboot, it shows unrecognized database format in access 2010. How to remove this error?
I have myself encountered this problem and I have two solutions to this. See which of them works for you.
1) If this problem occurs on one computer but not in another, then follow these steps.
a. Check for MS Access’s version.
b. If the version is 12.0.45, then the system needs Service Pack 3 which can installed from the official site.
2) The 64-bit version of 2010 Access Database Engine generates this error, try installing the 32bit version of the former.
These two options will help you overcome the error generated.
