Hello everybody,

I am using an Xperia Z2 tablet with WiFi and from the last couple of days it started making some sound and showing double Vibrio sign even it is not used. Also, its alarm clock got turned off, WiFi not able to turn on. It looks like some problem with the tablet itself.

How can I make it work? Please advise me on how to resolve this issue. Thanks so much guys!

Hi Paul,  for your Xperia problems, try this  for the sound problems go to your Settings then select sound and then click or tap sound effects. Try to turn off the individual settings by so doing,m try to tweak also your sound enhancements and see any effect. Now for the WiFi signal first turn off both your Xperia and the router. Now go to your Settings and WiFi and then long press on your connection and tap Forget network, and re-set it up again. Try also to change the channel or mode of the router.

If that’s what’s happening with your tablet, try factory reset. Here’s how to factory reset Android 4.4.4 KitKat. On your tablet, go to “Settings” then scroll down to “PERSONAL” section then tap “Backup & reset”. In “Backup & reset” screen, under “PERSONAL DATA” section, tap “Factory data reset” then “Reset phone”. And that’s it.

Before factory resetting your device, make sure to back up your entire device’s contents and remove the SIM card before starting the reset. See if this works. Here are the specifications of your tablet. The Sony Xperia Z2 LTE is a 4G tablet operating on 2G, 3G, and 4G network bands using GSM, HSPA, and LTE technologies.
