Unplugging charger before complete charging

Hello! I just bought an iPhone 6 and I was wondering if its okay to unplug my phone even if the battery is not 100% complete? Can it harm my smartphone or not? Actually I will be using a portable charger for the next few days and it stops charging after 80% battery is charged, so is it ok to use it in this way?

It is recommended to fully charge and discharge your battery once a month, but there is no cause for concern about its charge for the rest of the month.  The most important thing to do to save the iPhone’s battery life is to go through a full charge once a month.  This is done by charging the battery to 100% and then let the battery run down until the phone shuts off.  If this is done once a month, there is no reason to be concerned about partial charges throughout the month.  The most time-effective way to do this is to charge the batter overnight, let the battery run flat during the following day until the phone shuts down.

Even if the battery indicator shows that the battery is fully charged (100%), the battery continues to charge.  This design stops the battery from being damaged by leaving it plugged into the charger after it has been fully charged.  Once the battery is fully changed, the iPhone begins releasing small amounts of charge so it can carry on charging without being damaged.
