When I try to update the internet security in my computer I got this error message. I think this update has made some corruption in the computer. The error describes me that some dll file is damaged or corrupt. For your information, I have QuickBooks in my computer. Tried the solutions described in the error message, but no result. How to fix the damaged file? Please help. Thanks in advance.

An unexpected error reported while trying to run QuickBooks
This error is caused because QuickBooks may be downloaded a background update that is not installed completely. Or an incorrect version of the .Dll file QuickBooks used.
Intuit recommends 2 methods for this issue. For the best result, do the techniques in the order shown:
Solution 1:
1. Update QuickBooks to the latest release. For the latest one go this site.
2. Run reboot.bat.

Open the folder containing the reboot.bat file:
a) Wondows 7/ Vista: Right-click the “QuickBooks” icon >> select “Open file location”.
b) Windows XP: Right-click the “QuickBooks” icon>>select “Properties” >> click “Find Target”.

Double-click the “reboot.bat” file.
If the problem still persist, try Solution 2:

Perform a clean install of QuickBools. It is necessary manually to remove QuickBooks installation files & folders left behind by the Microsoft Add / Remove Programs utility. Performing this technique is frequently referred as a clean install or a clean uninstall which help isolate/ resolve issues with QuickBookks.
