Using computer without antivirus software is prawn to virus infection. This infection will be detected in a simple way if your computer experiencing the following: unexpected repititive shut down; running slowly; reading applications slowly resulted to hang-ups; and other unfamiliar process/programs that may surprisingly appear in your computer while you are using it. With this basic observatios I can say that your computer is infected with virus.

There are some ways which your computer can be infected with virus like opening an e-mail attachment, browsing malicious websites, installation of unsafe software and even some pop-up that comes to you while browsing in the internet.

It is recommended that you have some form of anti-virus software to avoid and help prevent any future infections.

That’s kind of scary assuming that you are running your computer without any antivirus protecting it and I’m also thinking that you are using your computer to browse the internet at this state. Generally in this condition without any antivirus on, surfing the web is very dangerous. Your computer can easily be infected by different antivirus and or spyware and worse, you can easily receive attacks from websites you visited for the first time. I experience it most of the time whenever I visit unknown websites and my internet security software alerts me every time an attack was detected.

I don’t know what successful online attacks do on vulnerable computers since NIS always block them on my computer. Online attacks come in the form of heavy traffic signals sent to your computer originating from the website you are accessing. With your computer’s present state and an attack happened while browsing a website, your computer will surely be an excellent candidate for a host since you don’t have any means of protecting the system from any form of threats. It’s like letting your enemy hit you with their entire armory and you freely and willingly accept it.

One sign of being infected is the extreme amount of time consumed in booting a computer. When your computer boots up for more than a minute, it doesn’t look good. It means that there is something wrong with the system that’s why it consumes time to simply boot the machine. If this is what you think is the reason then the best thing to do is to check the computer for possible virus infection. Computer virus not only damages the system but tends to make it slower as time goes by.

If you didn’t pay any attention to it at the beginning, don’t be surprised if one day you can hardly open your computer. You should check your machine for virus using reliable antivirus software like for example Norton Internet Security, Norton AntiVirus, McAfee Antivirus, Panda Cloud Antivirus, and others.
