When we are all done with the Virtual Machine set up and loaded it, we could encounter this pop-up problem:

Parrallels Desktop Unable to start the virtual machine “Ubuntu Linux”.
Parrallels Desktop

Unable to start the virtual machine “Ubuntu Linux”.
The virtual machine cannot be started because the hardware virtualization support is currently disabled. You need to enable it in the computer BIOS before you can use your virtual machine. Click More info… for details.

Any idea on how to fix this?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Arthur,

Your problem can be solved but the problem is, since you did not give me the name of your motherboard, that you will have to go to your manufacturers website and download your motherboard user guide and change the settings in BIOS. Or you could do a cold restart: shut down your computer, power it off and wait 10 seconds.
