I got a problem when I want to update this software. It shows an error message. This error happens frequently in Backup Exec 12.5 and Backup Exec 2010. Live Update cannot find any installed products to update. Therefore, I cannot update those products.
Can anyone please solve the issue arisen from the error message shown as screenshot?
LU1805: LiveUpdate was unable to find any products to Update
There are no products on this computer than can be updated by LiveUpdate
Unable to run Live Update in Backup Exec 2010
The main cause of the error is that Backup Exec gets unregistered with the LiveUpdate, the Backup Exec is basically registered with the LiveUpdate to receive all the updates.
You can easily resolve the above issue by following the below mentioned steps.
Uninstall the LiveUpdate from the Add/Remove programs.
Download the LiveUpdate 3.3 which is for Symentec Enterprise. Please note that you do not download the LiveUpdate version 3.5 as it is not designed to work with Symantec Enterprise.
