Unable to locate NTFS Disk

I am running Ubuntu in my Compaq Presario C700. I want to install a program which is incompatible with Ubuntu so I decided to uninstall Ubuntu first while I am into that program. How can I set up my computer in which when I wanted my Ubuntu back, it will still be readily available? I have created a new partition which is NTFS but when I tried booting Windows XP so that I could install the setup, I couldn’t find my NTFS disk. Please help me, I am a newbie here. Thanks! Any suggestion or help will be greatly appreciated.

Unable to locate NTFS Disk

First of all, what you are trying to do is not possible, because the usual way how things happens is that applications are meant to run an operating system, and what you are trying to do is the exact opposite. You are trying to make an operating system execute on an application. To make matters worse, the applications that you want to run on the ubuntu that you want to install is not compatible, and that means that it will not be able to run on that platform.

I will suggest that you install the ubuntu first, and then go to the internet and look for a compatible version of the application that you are trying to install it and use it.
