Hi mates, I have been trying to install a software, but nothing has seemed to work.
I ran the original installer, which said I would have to install manually and sent me to the full installer.
When I used that, it generated this error message:-
This application has failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
I am looking for somebody who can address this issue for me.

you are facing the problem of missing file from the system files try to download that specific file from the following website Download Link1 . after downloading the file you have to simply paste the downloaded file to the following directory  C:WINDOWSsystem32 of your computer, this will solve your issue but if it doesn’t work than you need to do another thing which is you have to re-register the file by this method. Go to start menu, click on run & write (regsrv32 C:WINDOWSsystem32msvcp71.dll) after that press ok button. You can see a pop up window message which shows 2 things, (i) it has been registered successfully (ii) error notice.
