The windows home server 2003 MSDN file that you mentioned is an iso file. It is a disk image file that is not readable by the computer directly. An ISO file needs separate tools to become readable. There are many tools that are available to read ISO files. All you have to o is mount the iso files. A new virtual disk will be created in your computer. If you want to delete the drive you can click eject or unmount.
