Hello,

The issue is with the remnants, as your system got shutdown between installation, it's partially installed and you can not install it again until unless you remove the old installation. You have to remove all the temporary files, registry or any instance of MS office which is partially installed in your system.  Instead of doing it manually you can download a software which can remove temporary files and registries for you.

Good luck..!!

If you didn’t wait for the installation to complete before shutting down the computer then the installation might have gone corrupted. Normally, it can be fixed by running the installer again to restart the installation. If this doesn’t work, you probably need to remove the incomplete installation of the program. Download the free trial of Revo Uninstaller Pro and install it.

Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller Pro then click “Forced Uninstall”. On the next screen, click “Browse for” then select “Folder”. Navigate to the installation folder of Microsoft Office which normally is “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office”, select it then click “OK”. Back in Forced Uninstall window, click “Next” then follow the instructions. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller and restart the computer.

Run the installer again to install Microsoft Office after booting then see if it works.
