Hi,
I can’t install McAfee Agent because of this error 1722. It seems like the installer package have errors so looked up to download from another servers. Always I have the same error 1722. Can anyone help me to install McAfee? What could be the problem?

Unable to install McAfee Agent because of this error 1722
Hello,
It looks like the product is partially installed inside your PC. This might be also for system requirements of the software.
First of all, remove the software completely. Use Wise Program Uninstaller to remove all files and registries related to this software. Then, update your system to Windows XP Service Pack 3. As Windows XP is an older version, the latest service is required to run most of the programs that are created recently. You can follow the steps described here to manually remove the program.
If possible, upgrade to Windows 7. Then run the installation.
Also, download a fresh copy of your McAfee Agent setup. The old one might be corrupted so this type of error might appear. Go to this page, provide your grant number and download a fresh copy to install McAfee Agent. Then, run the setup.
