URL comparison can be done between two ‘From’ SIP URLs, or it can be done between two ‘To’ SIP URLs. The order of the parameters does not need to match precisely. However for two URLs to be equal, the user, password, host, and port parameters must match. Make sure the SIP is connected with the network and it is communicating well in the network. Also, make sure the port 5060 is enabled in the firewall.
The SIP: Core SIP Technology Enhancements feature changes the parameters allowed in SIP URLs. The ‘maddr’ parameter and the ‘transportparameter’ are no longer allowed in Cisco SIP gateway implementations. The ‘user-param’ parameter is now an acceptable parameter for comparison.
