Hi,

I am unable to edit workflow actions in LANDesk Process Manager. Once the cycle is complete and saved editing brings up an error. I have attached a screenshot of the error. What is the remedy for this error?

Error: Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately.

This is not your usual error that happens in a program. The problem in your program is triggered by the application’s license. I’m not sure when the license got expired but I think this made the program to stop functioning. Since it is the license that matters here, I’m not sure if it is possible because it is usually hard to trick for the program to reset the license period because sometimes it is hidden somewhere in the system and deleting registry entries simply won’t reset the license period.

If you are originally using the trial version then the free 45 days are up. Try first reinstalling the program. Uninstall LANDesk Process Manager then restart your computer. Open Windows Explorer then go to “C:Program Files”. Delete the installation folder of LANDesk Process Manager if uninstalling it didn’t remove the folder.

Next run Disk Cleanup to clean your computer. Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup. Select drive C then click OK. Check all items that occupy space then click OK. You can also use CCleaner and other similar programs to clean your drive. If you have a registry cleaner, run it as well to clean the registry after removing the program. See image.

After this, restart your computer again then install LANDesk Process Manager. See if the license will reset. If this doesn’t fix it, you really need to renew your license by visiting their website or simply visit Test Drive our Products to download another trial version.
