Hi,

Max is a visual programming language for music and multimedia and I had it installed on my computer just to see how it really works. On opening it, what I get is the window shown below and it doesn’t go any further. Any ideas?

Ok.

if you unplug the "cable/step top box" this resets the box and could very well have resolved the problem, however chances are since it was more than one box that there very well may have been an outage in the area which has since been resolved.

Thanks.

Hi Scott L Donaldson,

Your problem with Max might be caused by compatibility issues with your operating system. You need to make sure the software works with your computer. To fix this problem, you need to do the following:

1. Check for the latest system updates and install them on your computer.

2. Back up your files.

3. Uninstall Max if you have already installed it.

4. Download the latest version of Max and install it again.

5. Restart your computer and load Max.

Hope this helps.
