Hello,
I am not able to contact MS Passport server in MSN because of this error. I have deactivated my firewall and I have checked my Internet connection and everything seems like to work just fine. Any idea about this error ? How can I solve this one ?

You probably get this error after adding MSN in Miranda. If you are using Miranda and this error pop-up after you decide to add MSN, try deleting the MSN account in Miranda and then after that, create a new MSN account again. It should fix the problem. If it doesn’t work, try reinstalling Miranda. Uninstall Miranda then click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools then select Disk Cleanup.
Select drive C then click OK. Check “Temporary files” and Setup Log Files and click OK. Wait until it is finished then restart the computer. Install Miranda back then create a new MSN account. See if this works. Also check if you are using the latest version. If not and you are using an older version, you probably want to install the latest version.
Download and install Miranda IM 0.10.23. It requires Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. Microsoft Windows 8 and Microsoft Windows 8.1 are not supported.
