Unable to connect to iTunes Store after changing OS

I never had any problem using my iTunes since the first time I use it. But after migrating to Microsoft Windows Vista, I started receiving error on accessing my iTunes.

When I tried to open it, I could not connect to iTunes Store. It keeps giving me an error stating that the network connection timed out. I did not download any software from iTunes store nor change the settings on my firewall that can affect my iTunes.

I am really lost so please help me.

Thank you.

Hi Christopher,

You have to make sure that your computer is updated and meet the requirements to be able to access iTunes. You have to make sure that you also meet the minimum requirements which is how on the link:

You can also visit the other links to solve your problems. I hope it helps. Good luck and have a great day.

Getting an error like what you got is an indication that your network may be having a connectivity problem to the internet. When the iTunes application tries to open the store, it will use your internet connection and if it doesn’t get a reply from the store it will timeout and it will inform you about it.

Make sure your internet connection is working by checking with your internet service provider or by checking other connected devices if they have internet connection. Also make sure your internet connection is not slow at the time. A slow internet connection can cause time outs as it takes longer for the server’s reply to arrive.

If the connection is slow, try disconnecting some of the connected devices to allow more bandwidth to be used by your system.
