Ubuntu Smartphone OS; Worth it?

There are many smartphone which are sold with Ubuntu as the default OS. But, I'm afraid that I won't be able to run all the Android apps on the Ubuntu powered smartphone. Is there anything like Wine which runs many Windows applications, on the smartphone, to run many android apps. I mean, is there anything like Wine for Android?

Ubuntu did not make an impact in the world of smartphones. There may be one or two devices on Ubuntu OS like Ubuntu touch or Ubuntu Edge. But there is a good news for Ubuntu lovers that it could be available for Nexus 4 and Galaxy Nexus. Wine is a software which runs many Android apps on Ubuntu OS. But there is nothing like this yet that can run Android apps on Ubuntu. So, you have to still wait for some kind of softwares.
