If Tweetbot crashes on startup, it may be due to corrupted image cache. That is a common problem with version 1.1. To fix this, you have to delete the cahce folder:

– Quit Tweetbot

– Open Finder and type command-shift-G

– Type ~/Library/Containers/com.tapbots.TweetbotMac/Data/Library

– Delete the Caches folder by pressing command+delete

– Restart Tweetbot

If Tweetbot won't start at all or crashes unexpectedly during operation, the problem is likely with corrupted settings, too. Try the following:

– Quit Tweetbot

– Go to your home folder in Finder

– Type command-shift-g

– Type Library and press return (this is necessary because the Library folder is hidden)

– Choose the Containers folder

– Delete the folder named com.tapbots.TweetbotMac

– Restart Tweetbot
