I am trying to connect the Informix database but getting the following error message. Please help me out to resolve this issue. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there John S Blanding,
 
The pop up window you are getting is not actually an error, it is a warning saying that you could experience some difficulties because of your locale settings. Difficulties can be either slow connection, long loading time or you could completely lose the connection to the database from time to time.
 
In order to make things work as they should, you should change your local settings to fit the ones on the other side.
