Hello, it seems that there are two ways to go about your problem. It might be the case that your Microsoft Xbox controllerhas a faulty battery pack. Still, follow these steps to check for battery:
1. Check whether your controller has a rechargeable battery pack. If yes, remove the battery pack and plug in your controller to a USB charger.
2. If not, then insert new AA batteries into the back of the controller.

If it still does not work, follow these steps to check for vibration feedback:
1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
2. Select “Settings” and click on “Preferences.”
3. Select “Vibration” and uncheck “Enable Vibration.”
4. Restart your console.
