I am quite sad now since my Virtualbox on my ACER D250 whose model is Ubuntu Remix 9.10, kernel 2.6.31-20-generic didn’t launch while a message pops out on my screen as shown in the image below.
Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)
Please install the virtualbox-ose-source package
Please give me some suggestions to solve this.

It is quite clear from the error message prompt that VirtualBox is not installed on your ACER D250 which is why the kernel cannot locate the source package and is giving the message ‘kernel driver not installed’.
So to solve this problem you need to first download the VirtualBox from here (Make sure that download the version compatible with Ubuntu) and then install it properly.Â
This will solve your problem.

I think you downloaded the wrong version of virtual box software as you might be know that Virtualbox (oracle) has multiple downloadable types, I suspect the . Deb will install in it.
You have to download the compatible one otherwise you may face problem as it is not compatible one.
