I have two internal drives but do not need both of them. Can I wipe the OS from one and trick the computer into thinking its a blank flash drive. So I can just back up and temp load files in it? Is this possible with a regular internal drive?

Hello Stephen!

Yes you are correct! You can wipe the operating system and format the hard disk drive. You can use it as extra drive where you can save files in it. It will be considered extra drives. I did this because I have two (2) extra HD before. Much even better if your will convert this as an external hard disk drive. You can purchase a “housing” where you can mount your extra HD and plug it in using USB cord. It is perfect because of using it as an extra internal drive, you can use it now as external drive to any computer.
