I am trying to update Trend Micro OfficeScan but can't update Trend micro office scan 10.5 client from server. When I attempt to update it gives me the following error message. I need your assistance to demolish this error. Any help would be appreciated.
Trend Micro OfficeScan
Unable to connect to the server. There may be problem with the server or the
Network, or the proxy information is incorrect.
Please contact your OfficeScan administrator for assistance.
Trend Micro Office Scan error
This error comes up due to folder permissions in OfficeScan.
You may need to contact the administrator to execute following steps –
Open Internet Services Manager under Administrative Tools.
Go to Default Web site > OfficeScan.
Right-click on OfficeScan virtual folder thereafter select Properties.
Click Directory Security tab, thereafter click the Edit button.
Enable the options – Anonymous Access and Integrated Windows Authentication.
Click Edit button under the Anonymous Access option.
Make sure to use a valid IUSR_<servername> account.
Enable Allow IIS to control password option.
Apply the changes made.
Restart World Wide Web Publishing service.
Open Services under Administrative Tools.
Look for World Wide Web Publishing.
Restart the service.
Run the SVRSVCSETUP-setprivilege command.
Open a command prompt.
Change the directory to ..pccsrv
Run the svrinst -setprivilege command.
