I have some PDFs which I wanted to translate to English from Thai, so I downloaded translation tools for Adobe Acrobat reader X Pro and tried translation. But it won’t identify Thai to begin with. Does anybody know how to rectify this issue? Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Dear Clive,
It is complex enough to make a pdf into word, let alone into Thai.
You have paid for your adobe, so you should contact customer service and support on their website.
I can provide with you an alternative that might work.
First convert your pdf into Word. use the following online tool to do that quickly:
http://www.pdfonline.com/pdf-to-word-converter/
Then if you have a Gmail account, sign into it and go the following link:
http://translate.google.com/toolkit/
(a bit better than normal Google translate, lets you upload whole documents to translate)
In case you don't use Gmail, you can still utilize the Google translate tool but you will have to manually copy paste the text into it
http://translate.google.com/
You need to first install the language for such a purpose. You need to specify the language and then you will be able to do the conversion. To select Thai language you need to follow these steps first
Change the format and keyboard for your desired language and then start conversion. I hope this will work fine.
