No it is not the same. If you want to change the location of the storage of outlook files, then simply copying and pasting them to a new folder location is not the right way. Although the current files will be transferred, but if your intention was to change the location of the files as you download and save them using outlook then it will not work that way. You will need to change the location when you download and save on file in outlook and change the folder location for all files.

• Go to outlook messages and click on one message that has a file that can be saved.
• The file will download and then a window with the folder location will come up.
• Change the directory path to the folder, and then choose the option for using that folder for other files that you will download.
