DVR is a small hard drive. So that it doesn’t capture more data at one time, so it have to need  transfer this data to a computer and create a backup file. If you want to create a backup file from you Digital video recorder, you can follow this steps I given below. At first you have to need this items- graphics card with a TV tuner, a PC, DVI to HDMI cable, and a secondary hard drive.
Step1- install the TV tuner into your computer. Follow the instruction manual of it.
Step2-now  Connect the A/V input on PC’s TV tuner card to your TV’s HDMI out jack using a DVI-to-HDMI cable. While DVR is connecting to your computer, play them.
Step3- Record the shows from your DVR to your PC. You have to use  the software that came with your TV tuner card. While the show plays on your TV set, you need to push record on the software.
Step4- Repeat steps 3 and 4 for that you wish to back up.

You have DVR / DVR card to set up motherboard.
However DVR small hard drive. [ example your DVR system is SONY 16CH MPEG-4 DVR Supreme pentaplex System . May be 8 GB use data, For back up system include]
Step 1 – USB not over in 1 GB. Use USB port (Menu, Advance, data, select time) backup USB done.
Step 2 – DVD Rome Writer. Same system too USB ( Menu, Advance, data, select time) backup to DVD.
Step 3 – Anther System is LAN (Local Aria Connection). At first you check DVR IP address.    ( Menu, Advance, Network, DNS: IP Port IP . Static IP Gateway IP Netmask IP). To Computer LAN connection to use it back UP.
Step 4 – Install the TV tuner into your computer. Follow the instruction manual of it.
Step 5 – Now  Connect the A/V input on PC’s TV tuner card to your TV's HDMI out jack using a DVI-to-HDMI cable. While DVR is connecting to your computer, play them.
Step 6 – Record the shows from your DVR to your P
